Merry Gothmas!
This year I decided to do something I have never done before, make my own Christmas cards!
I watched Ryan Adam's 'Night Sweats' (click heading to see it!) and the lassie (Blaphazar) gave me a fab idea of making goth xmas cards, so I did. The first one was based on her and the rest of the ideas made me laugh out loud at my own drawings-this does not happen very often! So I thought I was I was on to a winner, they got a good reception on facebook so I made more and more and have orders now! Which is nice, I also made some 'folkey' and bear ones too! I might make some birthday cards too in the new year!
Xmas cards now Stocked in Ocean Gallery, Swansea, and Swansea Print Workshop.

New work!
Here are just a few of the new illustrations I have been beavering away on for the last couple of months. These ones seem to fit together as a trio so I shall only show these for now, i'll upload a few more in a day or so!
Various examples are dondering around Swansea in various exhibitions at present, i'm sure they shall find their way into my etsy shop soon though.

Finished pieces or sketches? That is the question!
Hmm, well instead of show new work I think i'll go with the sketches. Some are old-ish, some are new and go hand in hand with my new work-I may post some later in the week.
I have moved away from my moleskines' since the little one died, not sure why, I think maybe because in my last moly I was doing little one related sketches and can't bear to look at them yet. So I moved back to a sketchbook I abandoned a few years ago when I went over the the moleside.
It's a 'hand.book' and is actually very nice!

Christmas down at The Brunswick!
It's that time of year again!
Christmas exhibition time that is, my next show is in the lovable Swansea pub The Brunswick. Opening next week. there are many wonderful visual delights on show and many artists there showing their works! This shall sadly be Rosie Scribblah's last exhibition as curator there, she has supported me many a time and given me several lovely shows, I wish her all the very best artyness in the future!
