some new work

I had a little show of my prints, so I was forced to make some new work, which is a good thing i guess! but here are some of the results:

From one blog, to another blog: 'Going,going not quite gone!'

I work as an artist at Swansea Print Workshop, where I run courses and teach on various projects, the most recent project I have been involved with was aimed at young people, encouraging them to become involved with volunteering. Swansea Print Workshop is a voluntary organisation and relies on volunteers to keep it running.
We received funding from Gwir Vol, to assist us to encourage young people to create a printmaking project, with two young volunteers working on the administritive side of things: we have a project assistant and a marketing, events assistant and four community artists providing workshops in community settings to a wide range of people. ORIEL CANFAS GALLERY, CARDIFF, PRINT FAIR!

For the next few weeks I have some work for sale in a Print Fair in a Beautiful gallery in Cardiff. Orial Canfas is in the Canton area of the city, just a stone's throw from the newly refurbished CHAPTER Arts Centre.
Oriel Canfas is a fantastic gallery which also houses studiio spaces upstairs I believe, although I havn't seen them, yet!
My 'The Fox and The Crow' print is available for sale at a special discounted price and one or two other of my own prints also!
I hope to go up on Saturday the 11th of December to spy some other work and you never know I may spend some pennies myself!

Collagraphs and Silver

Most recently I have been working on an edition of Collagraph prints @ Swansea Print Workshop, in Swansea, South Wales.
my idea of a fox has distributed out into various other artistic beings such as my new silversmithing course (which is GREAT!) and paper/card cut out work. but for the moment I am concentrating on my collagraph edition and my little silver pendant.
here are the results so far!
I am also working on some paintings of whales, racoons and other creatures for a christmas show here in Swansea. Good times!..at least I think this is good times, I don't really do 'painting' so this could be interesting!
